Our client is a leading supplier into the garden and leisure industry who have seen rapid expansion in recent years. They import many of their hard products from China and the Far East and work closely with suppliers there to develop new product ranges and ensure the best possible quality. They are constantly innovating and have seen massive growth in plants and horticulture ranges since launch. They are working with a number of UK growers to deliver fantastic plant ranges to their growing customer base. They guarantee all of their products and back their own brands to compete with any others on quality and value for money.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Buying team and contribute to the growth and success of a highly dynamic online retail company. If a career in buying/purchasing is what you're looking for, this position is an ideal first step onto the buying pathway. You will be responsible for supporting the buying team with purchase orders, supply issues, deliveries, stock control and booking, and assist the buying team with new product ranges. You will conduct market research and analysis to enable the buying team to make informed decisions.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will be a confident communicator with a great eye for detail. You will be very organised and possess strong Excel spreadsheet skills, such as v-lookups and pivot tables. You will be a strong team player and be able to work well with others as well as independently.
