Wayleave Officer | Energy & Infrastructure | Birmingham WFH

Our client

We are proud to be working with a leading global consultancy firm who are involved in some of the largest infrastructure projects in the UK. Past success had led to a growing caseload and is set to continue for the foreseeable future we are seeing wayleave officers.

The role

We are looking for a wayleave officer ideally with experience in utilities of HS2. Initially working from home, but office and site visits will become the usual working practice.

You will be seconded to a range of clients who will manage the day-to-day responsibility but with the full support and training from the surveying team.

You will be responsible for arranging access onto land to allow the management of utility work, dealing with compensation claims, and easements.

The candidate

Liaising with different departments and stakeholders the ideal candidate will naturally be a good communicator with an eye for detail.

Experience in utility work is necessary and an understanding of rural issues an advantage when talking to landowners.

Further training and support will be given in the areas required especially if transferring from other wayleave disciplines.

How to Apply

There is a great salary on offer and package to match and will be in line with experience.
