Wayleave Officer | Telecoms | Devon

We are seeking a wayleave officer to join a successful company to join their telecoms team based in the southwest. Working on improving the country's fiber broadband this role provides training where needed and long-term career progression.

The role

Working across Devon the role is based out of Bristol 1 day a week with the remainder working on-site and WFH.

The role covers:

• Proactive engagement with landowners using various forms of communication (letters, phone calls, site visits or virtual meetings) to secure the consent required
• Provide clear updates to Client's progress reports and, where appropriate, provide additional support and advice to build positive relationships with Client teams
• Attending ad-hoc project calls and project reviews with the Client as required
• Taking a solution and proactive based approach to resolving issues
• Maintain accurate stakeholder records tracking progress and for escalation purposes, providing clear and concise records with supporting photographs (if required)
• Working in line with Client-set timeframes and targets to ensure the program is delivered

The candidate

Training can be given for the right candidate who has the right personality where needed but would also suit someone who can hit the ground running and wants to set up into a bigger role.
