Luan, Associate Director, has just celebrated her 10 year anniversary at MorePeople!
Luan joined MorePeople back in 2012 having had a successful career in procurement and account management within the Fresh Produce sector and made her way through the Career Pathway and being promoted to Associate Director in January 2021. Luan is one of MorePeople's most successful recruiters - having the title of 'Top Biller' 7 times during her career here - impressive stuff!

What did you want to be when you were at school?
I wanted to work for an estate agent – I love looking round houses !!
How did you get into recruitment?
I had previously been a candidate of MorePeople who had placed me twice before. I had been made redundant from my role, so I was talking to Andrew about vacancies when he mentioned working in recruitment, it wasn’t anything I had ever thought of, but thought I would give it a go and the rest is history - I have been here 10 years!
What do you specialise in at MorePeople?
I currently look after the Technical recruitment for the Midlands and North, along with HR across the UK. I have also previously covered procurement and NPD roles.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve faced since working at MorePeople?
We talk to so many people, and when people have been made redundant or are out of work, I always feel terrible when we have to deliver the bad news that they didn’t get the role they wanted and came a very close 2nd.
Something on your bucket list you’re hoping to tick off soon?
Since covid hit I’m so looking forward to going abroad on holiday.
