Agricultural Sales Consultant | Agribusiness | £Good Basic + Commission

We are working with a very innovative and thriving Agri-IT business based in the UK who are looking to take on a new member in their Sales and Development team based in the East Midlands/East Anglia region. This business provides a valuable service to a variety of rural sector clients and enables them to better manage their businesses through the use of improved IT systems.

The Job:

This role will see you out and about talking to a variety of clients that can range from practical farming businesses all the way to golf courses and estates, and everything in between. You will be meeting a variety of people and talking to them about the product and how it can help benefit their business in a strategic management and planning function. The product is multi-faceted and whilst this is not an out-and-out sales role, you will be visiting the businesses to try and identify areas that this product could help with and sell the benefits where possible.

The Candidate:

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

An agricultural background or experience in dealing with rural businesses is a must, being able to demonstrate knowledge of an agribusiness will help you with the sales consultation process.

Experience with accountancy/dealing with accounts would be preferable as this product is sometimes based around finance. A great deal of this businesses products will be based around financial planning and business finance so any experience will be looked on favourably. However not essential, the business will provide training for the right candidate.

IT literacy, good Microsoft Office and relationship building skills will also be required. This will help you build rapport with potential clients and also put you in a great position to understand the products. Training will also be provided.
