Agriculture Graduate

We are currently working with a dynamic family farming business that has grown over the years to become a major supplier to the UK's top supermarkets. In order to continue this growth, they are now looking to take on a Farm Technical Manager to support them as they continue to grow from strength to strength.

The Job:
As a graduate you would take on the position of Farm Technical Manager and be there to support the Farm Manager and Technical Manager to ensure that all customer and regulatory requirements are complied with. You will be fully supported and trained on the job by the existing team to ensure that you are ready to take on the responsibilities of the role. Some of these responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring farm & customer codes of practice are followed.
- Soil sampling
- Complying to farm protocols
- Assisting in new farm and biodiversity initiatives

The Person:
We want to hear from candidates who have a degree or equivalent in Agriculture or Horticulture. You will also ideally have some hands on experience on farm or in the fresh produce industry. You will definitely be able/comfortable to use your own initiative, be happy to work in a fast-paced environment and have a systematic approach to your work.
