We are working with a well-respected and highly innovative breeder and supplier of vegetable, herb, salad and microgreen seeds as they look to take on an Assistant Breeder due to continued business growth.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a progressive and dynamic business that is genuinely passionate about the horticulture industry that they work in.

As Assistant Breeder, you will be a key member of the Breeding Team, working with the Head Breeder as you develop and manage various plant breeding programs. You will also work closely with the wider breeding team and look at ways in which you can improve existing procedures.

We are looking for passionate, forward-thinking and self-starting candidates who have experience working in a breeding role previously. Ideally, you will have an MSc in the subject and have experience of working in a similar discipline. You will be a good communicator, able to use your initiative and have a strong knowledge of modern plant breeding techniques.
