Assistant Farm Manager

We are looking for a forward-thinking Assistant Farm Manager on behalf of a large farming business with a rich history and big plans for the future. This estate is passionate about sustainable farming and innovating to ensure they are farming in the most efficient way.

As Assistant Farm Manager you will be part of a large team working across 9,000 acres. You will be reporting into the Farm Manager and working alongside two other Assistant Farm Managers as you manage a team of 30 - 40 staff. You will be growing high quality root veg, potatoes and combinable crops.

Candidates will have experience of working in a hands-on farming role. Ideally you will have experience in supervising staff and you will definitely have experience of working on a large farm. If you have experience of working with root veg or potatoes then this would be an advantage but we still want to hear from those who are from a purely arable background too.
