About Our Client

Our client is a Family-owned business based in Shropshire, who grow and pack a variety of Vegetables and Salads. They supply some of the major supermarkets in the UK.

About the Role

The assistant Farm Manager will work closely with the Harvesting Manager. You will manage all aspects of the day to day running of the farm, outside of the Harvesting function. You will manage all farm staff and ensure a smooth running of all functions with the farm. You will look at all planning of crops and ordering of seed. Speak with landowners to look at Sourcing and renting of land and report on farm performance according to the company requirements.

The candidate

You will have a background in Agriculture and have held a position at a similar level. You will have experience of managing people and also experience with Root crops or vegetables.
