About our Client

Growing on over 25 acres of glasshouse and polytunnels, our client is an established producer of pot and pack bedding. They supply a range of independent and group garden centres and pride themselves on growing quality stock.

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring that the team around you remain motivated. You will work on production strategies, ensuring that the process is efficient and maximising profitability. You will also work closely with the site manager to ensure seasonal staffing requirements are met.

The Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone that understands the pressures of working in a commercial growing environment. You will be a confident communicator, working closely with the site manager and grower manager to ensure targets are met and profitability is maximised. You will lead by example, and cover for the site manager when absent.
