The opportunity:

• As a Breeder, you will work closely with the Research Director on all current breeding programs.
• You will look for ways to improve protocols across all key areas of the breeding programs.
• You will ensure that you are using the most efficient ways of working.
• You will be involved in the production of annual budgets.

You:
We are looking for candidates who have a strong background in genetics or molecular biology. You might have experience in plant breeding, ideally soft fruit, or you might be looking to start your career in plant breeding. You will be passionate about horticulture and have great interpersonal skills. Excellent data handling and analytical skills are a must.

This is the perfect role for either an experienced Plant Breeder who is looking for a step up or a passionate and enthusiastic genetics/biology graduate who is keen to learn and progress.
