We are working with an incredible e-Commerce business who have seen phenomenal growth over the last few years. They have a established a very strong working relationship with their customers and will go out of their way to ensure they are delivering the best results for them time and time again. They are committed to doing business in a very ethical and sustainable way and need a Business Unit Manager who will bring the same mindset to the role. They have a fully integrated business through from front end and back end developers, in house customer services and full SEO / marketing optimisation.

About the Job
You will be working very closely with the Managing Director, supporting them with one of their largest customer accounts and working on a range of projects the business has on going. You will be involved with their Front End and Back End developers, ensuring you understand the possibilities and challenges facing the business. You will be tasked to find ways of improving the overall service the business provides and given the volume they deliver, cost savings of pence and time savings of milliseconds soon add up. Communication is critical as the business has built it's success on all their departments working fluidly together and you will need to contribute to this smooth running.

The Ideal Candidate
Specific product knowledge is less important, but a good understand of perishable products would be very useful. Personality and intelligence will play a much bigger part. You will need to be a smart operator and be able to adapt quickly depending on the situations you find yourself in. You will need to be well versed in online / e-commerce operating systems, understanding the tech stack that supports the whole business, being conversant in tech language and confident in fronting up to a significant customer. There is a huge opportunity to develop as the business continues its growth. As this happens, the role and responsibilities will grow with it.
