About our client:-
We are working with a highly regarded fresh produce grower and importer who are looking to appoint a new Buyer to their team. They have been at the forefront of Fresh Produce production for a number of years so this is a great opportunity to join a very successful team.

About the role:-
Working with the senior procurement team, you will be responsible for managing a number of supplier relationships, in the UK and internationally. You will be a crucial link to keep the Commercial team fully informed of upcoming challenges and opportunities. In time, you will become an expert in the category and always be looking for the next new product and on going opportunities for the business to stand out.

The Ideal Candidate:-
Ideally, you will have a couple of years of fresh produce buying experience and be looking to join a team who can offer you on going development. The ability to speak a foreign language would be a distinct advantage (Spanish or French in particular) but isn't crucial. You will need to be a proficient user of Excel, have a high level of self-motivation and a great "go get them" attitude.
