Buyer | Essex | Fresh Produce

We are working with a well established fresh produce business who are looking to appoint a Buyer to their team. Our client is a grower and sources crops internationally when needed, supplying into a range of retailers.

The Role:

Working in the commercial department you would be assisting with the day to day running of the buying and supply chain end of the business. You will be in contact with the retailers to provide them with key insights when needed as well.

The Candidate:

To be successful in this role you will have a great deal of enthusiasm and passion for the fresh produce industry and a couple of years of buying experience.

You will also have a good grounding and direct experience in Fresh Produce as they will be keen for you to be taking on some work as soon as possible.

Great numeracy, communication skills and Microsoft office skills are required for you to keep on top of the fast-moving pace of the business and industry.
