Buyer | Fresh Produce | Spanish speaking

Our client is a fresh produce business who have been at the front of the industry for a number of years. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Spanish speaking Buyer to their team who can help them manage and develop their supplier relationships.

The Job:-
Communication is going to be a key aspect for in this job. There are a number of stakeholders who will need to be kept informed of possible developments at all times.
You will be working very closely with the commercial and technical teams and providing key support to them during major retailer customer visits.
The company's supply base covers the UK and the rest of the world. You will need to be proficient in dealing with a number of different methods, to ensure all of these areas are managed effectively.

The Candidate:-
You will have experience as a Junior Buyer or Buyer and must have experience of supplying fresh produce to the major multiples.
As mentioned earlier, communication is very important so you will need to prove that this is something you are comfortable with.
Given the nature of the role, negotiation is going to be a key feature. You must be comfortable and capable negotiating with a range of suppliers from around the world.
Spanish language is a must.
