About the Client

We are working with a well-established business who are one of the world's largest and most accomplished fresh produce producers and providers. Renowned for growing, sourcing, importing, packaging, marketing and distributing over 300 lines of fresh produce they are now looking for an experienced Category Analyst to join the team.

About the Role

You will be working with the Category team to ensure the business is providing industry leading data and insight. This will allow the Commercial Managers and NPD teams to focus their efforts accordingly and have proven evidence for any recommendations they are looking to make. You will be responsible for pulling together the data from their external data sources (Kantar etc) and putting this into a clearer and more understandable model.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role you will ideally have experience with the fresh produce industry or similar in terms of fast-moving goods. You will need to have an inquisitive outlook and be alert to new trends within the market. A strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint is a must, on top of having strong communication skills, a team player and the flexibility to meet the demands of a changing environment.
