Are you an experienced commercial fresh food professional with a background in supplying UK supermarkets? Have you got a proven track record of delivering business growth and scaling a business? If so, this could be an exciting opportunity for you.

About Our Client
Our client is a leading fresh food manufacturer that has invested heavily in their sites to enable them to deliver on their lofty growth ambitions. They have a great reputation for quality products, innovation and service. They supply a variety of UK supermarkets and are looking to expand their customer base to include other retail multiples and further penetration into the foodservice sector. They are a close-knit team with a family feel and are fleet of foot and are entrepreneurial and innovative. This is a very exciting time to join the business given their plans.

About the Role
Your remit will be to deliver sustainable and profitable revenue growth. You will lead the commercial strategy and team to deliver this growth. You will be hands-on in delivering sales and developing business with new and existing customers. You will therefore lead from the front, be willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in wherever is required to deliver business goals. Adding value to customers, innovating, solution selling etc will come second nature to you. You will be able to utilise your experience with the retailers to develop commercial and category relationships. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to drive the business forward.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of growing and winning business with UK retailers. You will possess the drive to go and deliver on ambitious targets, whilst also being able to think strategically and create a sales strategy to deliver sales targets. You will be an influencer and be able to lead a team to deliver results. Ideally, you will have a mixture of branded and own label experience and will have a fantastic knowledge of the supply market supply chain. You will know what it takes to open doors to the retailers and be able to demonstrate your network and relationships with key customers.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to be an exceptional commercial professional with a background in supplying the UK supermarkets with fresh own label food products.

Salary
~£100-150k + package, which will include equity for the right candidate which will result in a life-changing sum of money should target be hit.
