About the Company
We are working with a global business who have been supporting the Fresh Produce industry for many years. They have a brilliant reputation with growers and producers alike thanks to their approach to the market and the support they are able to provide to their customers. Due to some internal changes, they are now looking for a Commercial Director to help steer the business through the next few years of development.

About the Role
You will be leading the commercial teams which comprises of a number Product focussed specialists and Customer focussed specialists. You will be overseeing all the usual challenges that come with managing a team, ensuring they are supported and motivated, whilst considering succession planning scenarios as well. They have a very loyal team which does make things easier. You will also be responsible for driving the commercial interests of the business both now and looking forward to future projects. The Ideal Candidate
You will have a Senior Commercial background, having worked in Fresh Produce for a large part of your career. An understanding of UK grown Veg and Salad crops would be an advantage, but fundamentally it is about the passion and drive you bring to the business. Being a home based role with a team spread over the UK, you will need to ensure you are good at communicating and ensuring all the stakeholders know what is happening at any time.
