We are working with a leading fresh produce producer who currently supplies some of the UK's largest retailers. This business champions some of the most up to date and advanced farming methods which enables them to produce top quality products. This position has arisen due to more growth from the business and provides a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to get into the produce industry.
This position will see you assisting and learning a great deal from the incumbent Commercial Manager, your focus will predominantly be on driving customer relations which are the backbone of the business. You will be working with the Commercial Manager to deliver on targets through the year along with feeding back on performance indicators within the business and how well on track certain plans are.
Relationships will form the corner stone of this business and how well you can maintain the existing clients with the most favourable terms along with building relationships with new clients to grow the business further. This will be achieved working closely with the Commercial Manager as a very efficient team whilst you learn a great deal about the sector and how the business operates.
The Successful Candidate:
To be successful in this role you would have the following:
Educated to a degree level or similar qualification, preferably in agriculture, agribusiness or agri-food marketing. Or with some great relevant experience to the produce industry.
A very friendly and affable nature that lends itself well to getting on with people in a business and social environment. Combined with a 'Go Get 'Em' attitude will mean you thrive in the business and this role.
Great Microsoft Office, communication and organisational skills will enable you to be precise and efficient at all times.
