Commercial Finance Business Partner

Our client, a leading food manufacturing business in the Manchester area, is looking for a commercially-minded finance professional to make a significant impact. This on-site role offers great development potential and the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the business.

Main Responsibilities

• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with commercial teams (including sales, marketing, and product management) to align their strategies with overall business goals. Provide support through detailed market analysis, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Retailer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with retail partners through regular meetings, calls, and industry events. Ensure open communication channels to stay informed about their pricing strategies and market needs.
• Competitive Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of competitor pricing and retail market trends. Use this information to provide actionable recommendations to both the retail partners and internal teams
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with new product launches and volume changes. Develop risk mitigation strategies to manage uncertainties and ensure business continuity

Required

• A finance degree and studying towards CIMA or ACCA to become a qualified accountant
• Experience working in an FMCG environment.
