Commercial VMI Executive | London | Competitive

We are working with a very progressive business who have experienced phenomenal growth over the last few years. They now have a requirement for a Commercial VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) Executive to be based from one of their key customers in London and spend time between the 2 offices. You will be ensuring the company is well represented within the customer in order to maximise sales opportunities for both of them.

The Job:
Your time will be split between the company's head office and the retailers head office.
You will be responsible for ensuring the forecasts for sales are as accurate as possible. This will enable the company and client to work together to maximise returns for everyone in the process.
You will be measured on improvements made through the cost chain, be that in waste across their stores and accuracy of the information provided.
You will be working closely with the Commercial Managers and Buyers to give them support as needed.

The Candidate:
Experience within or an understanding of the fresh produce / chilled food supply chain would be useful, most likely within a commercial capacity.
This is a fast moving area and you will need to have strong planning skills in order to manage the various demands on your time.
Good mathematical and analytical skills are a must as well as the ability to work well under your own steam.
