Despatch Manager

This is an excellent Despatch Manager opportunity within a well-respected short shelf life business who supplies into some of the UK's largest retailers.

Ultimately you will be responsible for ensuring all customer orders are despatched within a reasonable time frame, in good condition and within H&S procedures. You will supervise and lead the docking and picking team to ensure work is carried out efficiently and accurately with any potential issues highlighted to your manager and colleagues.

It is essential you will communicate effectively with hauliers to book transport and update customers as and when required.

You will be a flexible, adaptable and hardworking individual with excellent attention to detail. It is vital you have despatch and warehousing experience from a short shelf life or even horticultural industry.
