Facilities Technician - Electrician
Location: Market Drayton
Salary: Up to £45,000
Hours: Day-based role (no night shifts)

We're looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join the engineering and facilities team at a busy manufacturing site in Market Drayton. What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems and equipment across site

  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and carry out fault-finding and repairs

  • Conduct small-scale installations, upgrades and compliance testing (BS7671)

  • Support PAT testing and emergency lighting maintenance

  • Log work and resolutions into the CMMS (HolisTech)

  • Produce electrical permits and supervise contractor activity

  • Support energy-saving initiatives and help reduce site electrical consumption

  • Assist with minor fabric repairs and general facilities support

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Facilities teams

  • Complete shift handovers to ensure effective communication

What we're looking for:

  • Fully qualified Electrician (minimum Level 3 Electrical qualification)

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certified

  • Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or food environments

  • Skilled in electrical fault-finding and reactive maintenance

  • Familiar with inverters, control panels, and emergency lighting systems

  • Experience with PAT testing and using CMMS software (e.g., HolisTech)

  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and documentation

  • Strong communication, planning and prioritisation skills
