Facilities Technician - Plumbing, Steam & Pipework
Location: Market Drayton
Salary: Up to £45,000
Hours: Day-based role (no nights)

We're looking for an experienced Facilities Technician with a background in plumbing, steam systems, or pipefitting to join a busy manufacturing site in Market Drayton. What you'll be doing:

  • Install, maintain, and repair pipework systems (copper, stainless, ABS, PVC etc.)

  • Maintain steam systems, including traps, valves and condensate lines

  • Carry out welding and basic fabrication

  • Respond to breakdowns involving water, steam, or mechanical issues

  • Log all work and updates in the CMMS (HolisTech)

  • Supervise contractors and manage permits and RAMS

  • Support projects and upgrades involving utilities or infrastructure

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in plumbing, pipefitting, or mechanical maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings

  • Knowledge of steam systems, valves, pumps and water distribution

  • Welding skills and the ability to read pipework schematics

  • Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, Pipefitting, or Mechanical Engineering

  • Safety-conscious with a practical, hands-on approach

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
