If you are BASIS and/or FACTS qualified, with at least 5 year's experience in a hands-on farm management and looking for a step up in your career, then this could be your next role!

You will be leading the Arable & Grain team with regular reporting to the senior directors and business owner. You will need to be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the business.

At Bedfordia, every day is different and there will be plenty of opportunity for you to bring your knowledge and experiences to farm operations and business strategy.

There are a few elements to this role. Importantly, you will be managing the arable and grain team. You will inspire, coach, and develop the team to ensure progression in the business.

Working alongside the senior management team, you will develop and support the Farming business whilst implementing new farming schemes. And of course, we want you to work with our Environmental manager to keep the estate 'fit for purpose' to inspire the next generation of farmers.

There will also be the strategic element. You will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to plan and deliver projects across the farm. This includes responsibility for the Countryside Stewardship Schemes.

Having quality cereal crop production experience is essential and you will be using your agronomic knowledge daily to enhance crop output.

You will be inquisitive by nature, knowledgeable and passionate about farming. You will need to be comfortable working in a dynamic family business environment with family members who are very engaged and open with their long-term strategic goals.
