At Bedfordia, every day is different and there will be plenty of opportunity for you to bring your knowledge and experiences to farm operations and business strategy.

There are a few elements to this role.

On the farming side, you will be managing the arable and grain team. Through inspiring, coaching, and development, you'll support their careers as well as running a successful farming operation.

Working within the senior management team, you get to develop and support the Farming business whilst implementing new farming schemes.

You'll work with the Environmental manager to keep the estate 'fit for purpose' to inspire the next generation of farmers.

On the business side, there will be the strategic element. You will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to plan and deliver projects across the farm, such as Countryside Stewardship Schemes.

What will I have done before?

You'll have experience working on an arable farm or estate, and experience in producing quality cereal crops will be second nature to you.

You'll be inquisitive by nature, knowledgeable and passionate about farming.

You'll understand how to work and collaborate in a dynamic family business environment with family members who are very engaged and open with their long-term strategic goals.

What do I get?

Opportunities to work for such established and successful farming enterprises don't come about every day.

This would be an opportunity for you to take the next step in your career with the support of a well-established and friendly team-orientated commercial business.

It is certainly a step up in responsibility from your everyday farm management position and will provide you with opportunities to develop as an individual.

You will receive a generous salary alongside a refurbished 4-bed accommodation on-site, company truck, private medical insurance, and 23 days holiday + bank holidays.
