We are excited to be working on a unique opportunity with a global business, as they search for a Farm Manager to join their team out in the USA.

About Our Client

Our client has farming operations in the US, UK, and Europe and is known for producing high-quality produce that goes into retailers. The business has huge growth plans, and as a result, are looking for a driven farm manager to join the team.

About the Role

This opportunity will see you manage the growth of organic beetroot in New York state. You will be working closely with other growers to look at the way they currently grow and work together to create new methods that improve quality and yield. You will be looking at land preparation, drilling, and cultivations, through to harvest, and find ways to improve efficiencies.

The Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for someone that has a few years of experience in working with beetroot, or root vegetables and is looking for their next adventure. You will be confident in all aspects of growing quality crops, with knowledge in the technical side of farming (soil health, nutrients etc). Ideally, you will have worked in an organic environment, but if not, you will have the enthusiasm to learn. You will be prepared to relocate to the USA for at least 3 years.
