The Role: Farm Mechanic As a Farm Mechanic, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing our large modern fleet of machinery. Reporting directly to the Farms Operations Manager, you'll collaborate with various teams to ensure proactive maintenance and adherence to safety standards. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, and parts, developing workshop systems, and staying updated on machinery developments.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with large modern arable and root crop machinery.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with workshop management and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
