Fresh Produce Trader | Evesham | Wholesale

We are currently looking for a Fresh Produce Trader to work with an up and coming fresh produce business who are developing a great name for themselves. They are looking for someone who can help them develop further business for the company and it will give you a chance to have a lot of autonomy and freedom in the way you operate. There is a lot of opportunity for them to go after and this is a great opportunity to be part of their growth.

The Job:
You will be working closely with the Owners and managing sales across the country with a range of wholesalers and foodservice businesses.
Ideally you will be building on your existing relationships and the business will support you in finding new customers and suppliers.
Where possible, you will be buying a range of vegetables and fruit direct from the growers (where possible), in order to keep as much control over the process as possible.

The Candidate:
A track record of selling produce to wholesale markets or other non-retail channels is crucial.
You will be happy and able to work autonomously and be hungry to chase down all opportunities.
Good planning and organisational skills will be important in order to manage the variety of tasks you need to manage daily.
