Our client, based in Northallerton, is a family owned independent business that is expanding their team and is now recruiting a General Manager to help drive the thriving business forward. With a drive to grow, naturally they are looking for a candidate with the same ambition within their career.

About the Job
You will be a hands on, ambitious and proactive manager within an independent Garden centre. General day to day duties will include managing the team and rotas, managing the shop floor and general upkeep of the departments within the garden centre. You will be working closely with the owners to drive the business forward and increase the growing turnover and team. This Garden Centre is currentky going through some internal restructuring and needs a strong character who isn't shy of a challenge.

The Ideal Candidate
Past experience is equally as important than attitude and personality, although having experience in a garden centre is not essential. You will have a background in managing a team with a proven record of putting your ambition into place and driving a business forward.
