This 'hidden gem' Garden Centre based in London is looking for a new Garden Centre Manager. With one of the largest plant areas in London as well as a range of furniture, gifts, sundries and pet care this is a destination outlet which also brings in footfall direct to its on-site café. Formed 10 years ago this site is going through an exciting, growing period of trading.

About the Role

In this role as the Garden Centre Manager, you will be required to oversee the whole of the store and the staff within it. You will be expected to manage rotas, the day-to-day operations and maintaining a positive customer experience. You will work closely with suppliers and have final say on the ordering and buying aspects of the business. You will also be responsible for maintaining the high quality of the store day in day out.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role you will need to be either an experienced manager who is looking for a new challenge overseeing a strong team of staff within the store or an upcoming garden retail candidate who is looking to take their next steps into a management position. Strong communication skills will be essential as well as the ability to overcome challenges and issues through both customers and staff.
