About the Role
This role is all about leadership and managing a garden centre to deliver to its full. You will utilise your experience in the garden retail sector to lead and motivate the staff to deliver the best possible service to the customers, whilst keeping a close eye on stock levels, processes and areas for potential improvement. You will be the link between the team and the overall business objectives and will lead from the front to deliver what is required. Your background in retail and knowledge of how a garden centre is run will allow you to display the importance that all procedures are followed implicitly, across the whole team and centre.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing a large retail team in the garden sector. You will be able to demonstrate the impact that you have had on a team and business to drive growth and move a garden centre forward. You will be able to work with internal teams to solve potential operation issues before they arise as well as help marketing and commercial teams deliver on commercial results. You will be very focused on processes and systems and be able to lead buy-in into those systems and processes across a variety of stakeholders and team members.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have a proven track record of delivering fantastic service and commercial results in the garden retail environment. You will need to have strong process and system understanding and be a proven leader.
