The Role

Main responsibilities

• Lead a team of five full-time staff and up to twenty agency/temporary staff during
• Production planning to facilitate early harvest & shipment to key export markets
• Liaise with landlords to secure suitable land to meet production targets
• Assist with preparation of annual budgets
• Machinery procurement and replacement planning
• Provision of accurate stock and inventory
• Facilities management; 7,000 tonnes of on-site storage & grading capacity
• Marketing of free variety seed and ware as necessary

About you

• Previous management experience within a similar agricultural business
• Potato production experience and ideally seed potato experience
• Potato agronomy and storage experience
• People management expertise
