Do you want to work for one of the largest soft fruit producers in Europe? We are working with such a company as they look to grow their team but taking on an enthusiastic and passionate Growing Manager. Reporting into the Head Grower, you will be responsible for growing a high yielding crop and managing the crop cycle from plant delivery to harvest.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the quality of the plants purchased meets specifications.
- Pre-planting preparation and overseeing the planting operations.
- Crop maintenance and husbandry.
- Monitoring the crop and pests & diseases.
- Accurately recording yield information.

This is a brilliant opportunity for those who wish to develop a long-term career with a successful berry grower. You will have a background in commercial horticulture and have an operational focus. You will also be a strong commutator and highly organised.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have BASIS/FACTS and a good knowledge of PRIVA however this is not essential. You will, however, have your spraying certificates (PA1, 2,6a and b preferable).
