We are currently working with a fantastic grower, packer and distributor of high-quality vegetable and salad crops as they look to appoint a Harvest Manager to their Salad team.

The Business:
Based in the heart of Lancashire, this business supplies a variety of the UK's major supermarkets as well as the foodservice, wholesalers and food manufacturing sectors. You'll be joining the company at a really exciting time as they continue to successfully grow and expand whilst maintaining their core family values.

The Job:
As Harvest Manager you'll be responsible for ensuring that all harvesting lines are running effectively and efficiently in order to guarantee that all customer orders are met. You'll do this by:
- Managing an efficient Harvesting team.
- Managing output and costs within the salad harvest.
- Maximising harvest efficiencies
- Ensuring all staff are fully trained and motivated.
- Ensuring all fields are left clean and tidy.
- Ensuring accurate grading of produce.
- Ensuring customer orders are met.

The Person:
We are looking for candidates who have excellent relationship and managerial skills that they can utilise to effectively lead a team. You will also have experience of working in fresh produce in a similar role and be able to work well under pressure. You must also be flexible as you will be required to work long hours and at weekends during busy periods due to the seasonal nature of the role.
