Are you an experienced soft fruit Harvest Manager looking to take a step up in a very successful business?

About our Client

Established for over 50 years, our client is one of the UK's leading producers of berries. They have several farms across the south of England and run a very successful operation. This role will be based at their site near Guildford.

About the Role

Reporting into the Farm Manager, you will be responsible for planning harvest and organising the harvest logistics and teams. You will set the picking price and rates and ensure that the fruit meets all quality requirements and are handled in the correct way to ensure quality and shelf life. You will work closely with the technical and farm teams. You will also train and develop team leaders and have experience of managing people.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a large scale, protected cropping environment. You will be confident in managing large teams of people and be confident in communication. Knowledge of growing is essential, as this will be your daily focus.
