We are delighted to be working in partnership with a growing fresh produce business as they seek a Head of Farming to join their team in Ukraine. The business has ambitious plans for the future and is aiming to become a leading vertically integrated producer and trader of vegetables across the world so is therefore looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Head of Farming to help them achieve this.

The role:
As Head of Farming, you will have responsibility for all farming, operational, commercial, strategic and financial decisions across the farming side of the business. You will have a strong understanding of growing and constantly look for ways to maximise efficiently whilst ensuring the quality of the crop remains high.

The person:
This is a unique role for a unique person.
- It is essential that you have experience of farming fresh produce or potato crops and have a strong understanding of irrigation systems.
- You will be an effective self-starter with strong business acumen and effective problem-solving skills.
- You will be hands on in your management style and have high professional and personal ethics.
- You will be a people person and be able to build strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
- You must be adaptable and willing to learn the local language and customs.
