Join an esteemed group of companies dedicated to excellence in agricultural production and customer satisfaction, Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Head of Quality & Compliance. This position reports directly to Managing Director and offers a unique opportunity to lead quality and compliance efforts across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with board directors regarding customer specifications, quality standards, and audit requirements.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customer complaints and service levels.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure quality targets and specifications are met.
• Manage soft fruit and leafy salad packaging, reporting variances to budget.
• Ensure compliance with BRC, Red Tractor, LEAF Marque, and customer-specific standards.
• Assist with audits and maintain records for compliance purposes.
• Coordinate data collection and reporting on GHG emissions and other environmental metrics.
• Chair soft fruit quality meetings and provide weekly management reports on KPIs.
• Support R&D trials program and other senior management initiatives.

Experience Required:

• Audit preparation and compliance experience (BRC, LEAF Marque, Assured Produce).
• Commercial experience in harvesting and packing fresh produce.
• Strong background in agricultural science or related field.

Skills & Attributes:

• Commercial judgment and customer focus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in IT tools, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to analyse and present data effectively.

Salary & Benefits:

• £Very dependent on experience, plus performance-based bonus.
