About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a European Supply Chain organisation to recruit an exceptional Operational Quality & Compliance Manager. This is a unique opportunity for a confident, people‑focused professional to take ownership of quality processes across UK Depots, Return Centres (RSUs) and customer locations (UK Wide Travel is a neccessity for this role)
The role blends operational auditing, stakeholder engagement, coaching and continuous improvement. You'll act as the company's trusted representative on the ground strengthening relationships, elevating standards and ensuring operational excellence across a diverse national network.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Auditing & Reporting
- Conduct regular audits across depots, retailer return centres and customer sites
- Ensure compliance with company standards, SOPs and UK Health & Safety regulations
- Produce independent reporting and registrations relating to process improvements, service quality and training needs
- Deliver frequent KPI reports for management and internal dashboards
- Manage and follow up on internal complaints
- Support the execution and monitoring of Health & Safety requirements
- Oversee inventory monitoring and conduct regular stock counts
- Analyse depot performance and service levels against contractual agreements and KPIs
- Facilitate improvement discussions with depot management, operational partners and customers
- Support quality and compliance activities in other European countries when required
Interpersonal & Stakeholder Responsibilities
- This role requires someone who is as strong with people as they are with process.
- Build trusted relationships with depot teams, customers and supply chain partners
- Communicate findings clearly, constructively and confidently
- Influence stakeholders at all levels through insight, clarity and a solutions‑focused approach
- Coach teams to embed best practice and strengthen operational discipline
- Create a collaborative environment where continuous improvement is embraced
