Head of Supply Chain / Operations | Food | North West London

Salary: £60k-£80k (DOE)
Hours: Mon-Fri (8:00-17:00), want someone 5 days in office where possible

If you want to hear about / work for a company, you probably won't have ever heard of, but likely to have eaten there products before, and want to be part of a business that have very exciting, ambitious plans, then we may have the perfect opporutnity for you.

When I say, you may have eaten their products, that is because they currently supply high quality products into the UK Supermarkets whilst also supplying into the Food Serrvice & Hospitality sectors, with some very well known brands in their portfolio.

In current state of play, they don't have any manufacturing, so they use 3rd party manufacturing companies in Europe to produce their products, so this Head of Supply Chain / Operations is very much looking after those relationships and ensuring the finished product gets into the UK, 3rd Party Logistic providers are aware and able to maintain orders, and ultimately get the product into the customers on time and to spec.

Part and part of this, and what should come to you as second nature, is that this whole process needs to be cost effective, efficient and future proofed, as this business are wanting to expand and grow, so the foundations much be solid.

What do you need?

  • Experience within Supply Chain /Operations within the Food manufacturing, retail is a must.
  • You will be able to prove that you have experience moving product from Europe, into the UK and managing relationships with 3PL providers.
  • An ambition to be part of a business that are on a growth curve and be part of that journey
  • Ability to roll up sleeves and be part of a small, but growing team.
