We are working with an established business producing prepared Food products to into the major supermarkets and the food manufacturing sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a standalone H&S Manager to be part of this extremely well-established company, responsible for the implementation of the strategy and policy across the site.

About the Job

They are looking for an enthusiastic Health & Safety Manager to implement and promote a strong Health and Safety culture on site - this is a hands-on role so you will be expected to be actively writing SOP's, creating risk assessments etc. not just overseeing. Managing the four main areas of the business - Packhouse, Warehouse, and Logistics.

You will be committed to promoting a safe working culture, managing the standards, being the dedicated provision on-site driving the safety culture and best practice, including behavioral aspects of Health & Safety and Continuous Improvement

The Ideal Candidate

You will work closely with the Senior Management team which will require you to have superb communication. It is essential that you have a proven track record as a Health and Safety professional within a Food, Fresh Produce or FMCG manufacturing environment and possess your NEBOSH certification.
