Health and Safety Officer | Part Time

We are currently recruiting for on behalf of a very established; luxury brand and multiple award winning business.
As Health and Safety Officer you will be the first point of contact for all health and safety matters. You will play a key role in delivering and maintaining a positive health and safety culture company wide and fulfilling health and safety administrative duties.

They are looking for an enthusiastic Health, Safety and Hygiene Controller to implement and promote a strong Health and Safety culture on site - this is a hands-on role so you will be expected to be actively writing SOP's, creating risk assessments etc. not just overseeing. They are looking for a professional with excellent communication ability with natural people skills to support and influence a wide range of people.

You will be committed to promoting a safe working culture, managing the standards, being the dedicated provision on site driving the safety culture and best practice, including behavioural aspects of Health & Safety and Continuous Improvement.

You will work closely with the Senior Management team which will require you to have superb communication. It is essential that you have a proven track record as a Health and Safety professional within a food manufacturing environment and possess your NEBOSH certification. Although Safety, Health and Environment is the main focus, some Hygiene expertise is desirable.
