Plant Area Manager - Flagship Garden Centre
Salary: Up to £34,000
Hours: 37.5 per week · Alternate weekends

The Role

As Plant Area Manager, you'll:

• Manage and develop a dedicated team of 10 colleagues.
• Oversee all aspects of the plant area, from stock management and plant care to layout and presentation.
• Drive sales and commercial performance while upholding the highest standards of customer service.
• Play a key role in shaping the centre's horticultural offering as part of its ongoing investment and development.

What We're Looking For

• Strong horticultural knowledge across hardy plants, seasonals, and container stock.
• Proven leadership experience - ideally in a garden retail environment.
• Commercial awareness, including buying, stock control, and margin management.
• A hands-on, supportive management style with a passion for coaching and developing your team.
• Organised, customer-focused, and confident in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Commercially focused, able to spot slow moving stock and deal with it accordingly.
