Our client is a market-leading garden centre with a reputation for excellence. They opened in 2002 and have grown year on year since. They are an independently run garden centre with a focus on plants and keeping everything as local as possible. Their mission is to inspire gardeners of all levels, highlighting plants for different seasons and areas, the centre also includes a Café and a Farm Shop.

About the job

As horticulture manager, you will be supporting and working with the Plant Manager in the running of the external retail departments. Responsible for the productivity of the outside departments and management of the general day to day operations, assisting the general manager and business in general.

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience working within Garden Centres in a senior management role (mainly horticulture background though). They should have an energetic personality and be able to connect with customers. You also need to have the ability to both manage and develop your team.
