About our Client
Our client has been going from strength to strength since they were first established in the 1970s and have grown to over 30 acres, which now includes glasshouses, polytunnels and an outdoor growing area. This is an exciting time to join the business as they continue to grow and establish themselves as a major player in the horticulture industry.
About the Role
Working as part of the Research and Development team, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and reporting on all trials. You will be crop walking, ensuring good crop health and assessing trials accordingly. You will also be working with the Plant Breeder, to ensure new varieties are trialled quickly and efficiently.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have a formal qualification in horticulture and a genuine interest in new product development and trials. You will be organised, have attention to detail and be confident in writing reports. Ideally, you will have some previous experience in a commercial horticulture environment.
