HR Manager

Job description

We are supporting our client in the search for an experienced HR Manager. This role offers full ownership of the HR function, providing clear and practical people management support across the business. This is a hands on position, responsible for both day-to-day HR operations and contributing to strategic initiatives, including workforce planning and organisational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle
  • Help lead recruitment and onboarding activity
  • Handle employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances and absence management
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
  • Lead performance management processes
  • Provide clear, commercially focused advice to managers
  • Produce HR reports and workforce data as required

What we are looking for:

  • CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Solid experience in a standalone or senior HR role
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident managing complex ER cases
  • Practical, solutions focused approach
  • Strong communication skills and ability to challenge when needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment (Experience in FMCG is preferential)
