Are you an innovative engineer with a green thumb? We're looking for an HVAC Design Engineer with a unique blend of skills in industrial design and horticultural knowledge to join a growing Engineering business based out of Hull.

About the Role: As an HVAC Design Engineer within the business, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing HVAC systems that not only meet the rigorous demands of industrial environments but also support the delicate balance required for horticultural projects across the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design HVAC systems tailored for large-scale industrial applications and controlled horticulture environments.
  • Work closely with botanists and agricultural experts to ensure optimal climate conditions for plant growth and health.
  • Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed designs and simulations.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to integrate HVAC solutions with existing infrastructure.
  • Lead the project management for installation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.


  • At least 3 years of experience in HVAC design, preferably in industrial or horticultural settings.
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling software and thermal load calculation programs.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A passion for sustainability and innovation in engineering design.
