Insight / Category Manager | Fresh Produce | Hertfordshire

We are working with one of the shining lights of the fresh produce industry. They are driving consistent growth in their category and are often held up as the business to beat amongst their competitors. They are currently looking to appoint a customer facing Insight / Category Manager to join this growing team and to enable the business to continue to provide the leading insight they currently do. This is a very hands on role and you will be in front of customers on a regular basis. This role would suit someone who has been a customer facing Account Executive or Account Manager who is looking to be more Category focused.

The Job:
You will be working in close conjunction with the Commercial Managers to help drive category growth.
You will play a key role in highlighting opportunities which the business and the retailers and company can capitalise on.
In order to do this, you will be analysing the data provided by the data team and pulling out actionable insight.

The Candidate:
In an ideal world, you will have experience in fresh produce and come from some form of customer facing position and be able to hold your own with customers.
You will be good with numbers and be able to interpret data in an effective way. Understanding of IRI, Kantar, Nielsen would be a real advantage.
The ability to portray information in an accessible and understandable way is really important in order to get the best buy in from customers.
