About the Job
As a result of growth and internal promotions, they are looking to appoint a Junior Buyer to their team. This will be about supporting the broader Buying team but also to develop the future superstars for the business. You will be working closely with some key UK growers and will be negotiating fair prices to ensure sustainability for all parties. You will support the broader team on larger "projects" in order to develop your skills and abilities.

The Ideal Candidate
You will bring the beginnings of some Procurement experience but will be looking to develop this in due course. A good knowledge of farming or fresh produce is important as you will need to understand the intricacies of the overall sector and be able to react appropriately to changes in the environment. You will need to work well under your own initiative but will know when to ask for help. The role is based in Andover, but there would be some split between home and office for the right person.
