The last guy in this role did it for over 30 years. He's going to be retiring soon, and wants to pass on his wealth of knowledge to you.

The opportunity is very rare, and the business do well at looking after their staff.

They have a profit share bonus, early finish Fridays along with a generous holiday entitlement.

Trees. They absorb carbon dioxide as they grow and the carbon that they store in their wood helps slow the rate of global warming. They're also pretty.

Now, you get the chance to grow them on a large scale and see the benefits of your work across the country.

What will I be doing?

You will learn all the tricks, skills and technical knowledge from someone who loves what they do.

After you've completed a structured training plan, you get to run one of their 5 sites with full autonomy.

They have several people in the business that have over 20 years' experience. With this, along with in house development plans, they give you everything you need to achieve both personal ambitions and also business goals.

This role is the definition of solo working and team working.

For about half the year, you will be in charge of that site independently, getting to manage the growth, soil health and crop health. In the busier times, you'll get a team of 4 or 5 to support you in lifting crops and getting ready for the next time round.

They have 5 sites across Yorkshire and supply high quality trees, shrubs and plants for over 100 years.
